Denis Suarez was the talk of the January transfer window with his loan move from Barcelona to Arsenal.

The deal took weeks to complete after a back and forth between both clubs, but it was eventually confirmed on the day before the window slammed shut.

Big things were expected of the 25-year-old when he touched down in London but during his first few months, Suarez has failed to make an impact.

He's featured just six times as a substitute and is yet to start a game for the Gunners.
It's believed that manager Unai Emery wanted to give the Spaniard as much time as possible to adapt to Premier League football.

But according to a report from The Sun this week, Emery and Arsenal have already grown tired of Suarez and will be looking to ship him back to Barca in the summer.

The paper suggests that the midfielder has failed to impress his coach since joining in January and Emery believes that he's struggling to cope with the physical demands of English football.

Suarez has a little more time to get into his manager's good books as Arsenal players who haven't been called up for international duty are currently in Dubai for a warm-weather training camp.

But, The Sun also suggests that Emery is already looking ahead to the summer and has his eyes on young PSG winger Christopher Nkunku and Stade Rennes' Ismaila Sarr.

Right now, things aren't looking good for Suarez.

He failed to break into Barca's team in the first half of the season - playing just eight times - and he's not done enough to convince Arsenal to make his deal permanent either.
What happens next is unclear for now, but it looks like his stay in the Premier League will be short-lived.
