Romelu Lukaku ‘misses team bus home from Southampton due to urine troubles’

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku reportedly missed the team’s bus home after their match at Southampton – leaving him to get a taxi on his own.

The Belgian was randomly plucked from the dressing room following United’s 1-0 win by drug-testers, but found it rather tricky to produce a urine sample, according to the Daily Mail.

That led to the team bus setting off without him, even though Lukaku had scored the match-winning goal at St Mary’s.

The £75 million summer signing has started the season in fine fashion, bagging eight goals in as many games for the club.

He’ll need to keep up that good form, however, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic expected to challenge him for a starting spot when he resumes full training.
