Jose Mourinho called ‘rude’ and ‘wrong’ about Antonio Conte comments

Jose Mourinho has been lambasted over his comments about Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, after claiming that the Chelsea boss managed a negative side.
Mourinho has taken a swipe at his former club, and managed to offend former Chelsea player Graham Le Saux as well, who came to the defence of Conte.
“Jose Mourinho was a little rude about Chelsea after last weekend’s matches, criticising Conte’s side for defensive football,” Le Saux told Betfair.
“But that’s typical Mourinho, up to his usual mischief.
“Chelsea are not a negative side – the goals for column tells you that!  “Whether you think Chelsea play a back three or five it’s irrelevant really.
“They’re a five when they need to be and a three when they need to be.
“And we have seen how destructive wingbacks Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses can be when they go forward.  “What I like about Chelsea is that even when they are under pressure they always offer a threat on the counter.
“They’re great athletes and can get from back to front in no time at all.”

Top of the table

Chelsea may have won the league last season, but it’s the Manchester clubs who are sitting top of the pile at the minute, with Manchester City and United only having dropped two points all season and both looking brilliant up top.
Chelsea did have Arsenal to play this weekend, and it seemed that the club once again struggled to beat the Gunners, who took their first point from Stamford Bridge since 2011.
The Blues have now failed to beat Arsenal in their last three meetings, losing the FA Cup final, the Community Shield and now drawing in the Premier League, a result that will have pleased Jose Mourinho in terms of the points gap his Man United side have over Chelsea.
