Barcelona have made a public approach for Coutinho but have seen three bids turned down.
The latest - a £118million offer - would have broken the transfer record had Neymar not been sold to PSG for £200m earlier this summer.
Liverpool are determined to keep Coutinho even though he has handed in a transfer request.
But one Barca fan at least believes the deal will be done before deadline day.
The supporter was spotted by Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo wearing a Barca away shirt with ‘Coutinho 11’ on the back before kick off in their clash with Real Betis.

Neymar vacated the no 11 shirt when he moved to PSG.
Mundo Deportivo claim Barca won’t give up the fight to sign Coutinho, with 12 days of the transfer window remaining.
Maybe the fan was also one of those who burned their Neymar shirt when the Brazilian left for Ligue 1.
Barca laid on tributes at the Nou Camp for the victims on this week’s terror attack.
Over 56,000 fans attended the game - Barca's first outing of the new La Liga season.
Manager Ernesto Valverde had hoped to have had Coutinho installed in his squad by now, with their pursuit hotting up ever since Neymar left for France.
