Kylian Mbappe ‘banned from Monaco training after altercation with team-mate’

Kylian Mbappe’s life is getting a bit crazy at the moment it seems.

With Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG and other big clubs around Europe reportedly still fighting to sign him, things are getting tense at Monaco.

French newspaper L’Equipe splashed a loud story across its front page on Monday reporting that Mbappe has been banned from Monaco training… since last Tuesday.

Apparently the ban came into force after the forward had an ‘angry altercation’ with team-mate Andrea Raggi on the training ground.

The report strongly suggests that there is no way that Mbappe can return in an amicable fashion to the Monaco side.

“The situation of Kylian Mbappé at AS Monaco is increasingly uncomfortable,” the report reads.
“He refused to leave the field, determined not to move. All the other players had to train on another lawn. A sign that the tension is mounting around the young international.”

Clearly, tensions are running high. Mbappe will just have to hope that he can secure a move fairly swiftly.
