THIERRY HENRY reckons Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is almost at breaking point and fast running out of ideas.

Antonio Conte guided Chelsea to the Premier League title last term in his debut campaign in charge of the club.

Despite making four signings, Conte has been left frustrated after missing out on a number of key targets.

Conte complained of feeling ‘alone’ at the Blues, and he has already fallen out with Diego Costa.

And Henry is convinced Conte is starting to feel the pressure.

“What Conte did was a miracle last season - it really was,” he said on Sky Sports.


“I think he rolled with it and didn’t say anything to anyone.

“I know him a bit. For him to come out and say what he said openly, well he’s telling us he feels like he’s alone.

“If you do that openly at the start of the season knowing the impact it can have on the team, it’s because it is the last straw to have an impact.”

Chelsea lost 3-2 to Burnley in their opening Premier League fixture at the weekend.

They hope to get their first points on the board away to Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday (4pm).
