Inter have reportedly sounded-out Leicester City over a potential move for Riyad Mahrez.
The attacking midfielder wants to leave the Foxes this summer, but they’ve rejected two offers for him from Roma.
It has been reported that the Giallorossi are therefore ready to turn
their attentions elsewhere, but it appears that may not be the only
interest from Italy.
According to this morning’s Corriere dello Sport, a recent meeting
between Walter Sabatini and a Leicester representative was held to
explore the possibility of Mahrez moving to the Nerazzurri.
Negotiations are still at an embryonic stage, and no offer has so far been made for the Algerian international.
However, if Antonio Candreva is sold to Chelsea - something the
winger’s agent has ruled-out - Inter could accelerate for Mahrez.
